It can be hard to be satisfied with any kind of progress if there are no immediate results.
This phenomenon is often referred to as unrealistic expectations.
It's a mindset 'issue' leading to dissatisfaction and frustration while working on our goal.
Sounds familiar?
IT'S NORMAL! ALMOST EVERYONE DEALS WITH IT AT SOME POINT IN THEIR LIFE...
Why? because of the dopamine in your brain...
To prevent these types of frustrations from occurring, one simply needs to develop a mindset of gratitude.
But that's easier said than done right?
Luckily for you, I've developed an easy method to train your brain into becoming aware of progress to be grateful for.
Helix Method
Step 2
Fill in your (To-Do) task into the 'I need to box'.
Step 3
Think for a second about 3 things you gain from completing this task.
Important: before you go and start the task, always make sure to have 3 things you gain or receive upon completion!
If your task only has 1 or 2 things, the task is probably not worth doing!
That's it!
Now it's up to you to get going and analyze what to be grateful for.
Remember, knowing is growing!
