IKIGAI (find your purpose)

Have you ever wondered if life is more than just the daily grind?

You've probably heard of the term goals, but just can't figure out what yours are...

Let's create our Ikigai, a Japanese idea that means a reason for being.

Finding the ideal intersection point between your skills, passions, and the needs of the world is the first step to breaking out the practice of being casual.

Step 1: What You Love

The first circle is about what you love doing.

These can be activities that make your heart sing. Think about hobbies, interests, or anything that lights you up!

  • Write down what you love most of all.

Step 2: What You're good at

The second circle is about what you're good at doing.

These can be skills you’ve developed through work, education, or personal experiences.

  • Write down what you're the best at.

Step 3: What the world needs

The third circle is about what the world needs according to your opinion.

Think about the needs in your community or the world at large. What issues resonate with you?

  • Write down what you think the world needs.

Step 4: What can you be paid for

The fourth and final circle is about the way to turn your skills into a sustainable income.

Think about what you can offer that aligns with your interests and meets a need.

  • Write down what you think people will pay you for.

IKIGAI

At the center of these four circles should be your IKIGAI = your reason for being.
