Pomodoro Technique

It's a fact that everyone has a short attention span when it comes down to being focused while getting meaningful things done.

Did you know there's an easy technique invented by Francesco Cirillo to increase your efficiency while remaining focused?

The technique was developed in the late 1980's but is still very effective today!

To use the Pomodoro Technique, you will only need a timer and a strict set of rules.

Fact: Pomodoro means 'tomato' in Italian, referring to old kitchen timers that were shaped like a tomato.

Step 1 | Decide

Decide on the task you need to complete.

Step 2 | Set timer

Set a timer for 25 minutes.

Step 3: Work

Work on your task until the timer goes off.

Step 4 | Break

Take a short 5 minute break to recharge energy.

(It's proven that taking a break regularly is actually more beneficial than forcing yourself to work for unlimited time.)

Step 5 | Repeat

Repeat the process.
