Elon Musk, Mr. Beast, Michael Jordan...

We all know their name, right?

All three of them have achieved a level of mastery.

Yet few understand the secret how they became the best at what they do.

They have achieved a level of mastery.

Kind of mastery that is only achieved with obsession.

Obsession is what accelerates mastery and ultimately fulfils your purpose.

Note

Obsession

Obsession is spending every single minute on mastering the craft you love.

Major problem

95% of people fear the word obsession.

In today's world we're constantly reminded that being average is okay...

Most people will tell you only a handful are gifted with some kind of talent...

I'm here to tell you the exact opposite.

I do believe you have something special inside of you.

Maybe you're the next Charles Dickens or Leonardo DaVinci.

Or maybe your fascinated by technology and you're meant to become the next Steve Jobs?

The main reason you don't know or are unsure what's inside of you is because you're willingly choosing distraction over obsession and not the other way around.

Here's what you can do

  • Look back

What made the time fly when you were a kid?

Truth is children are less aware of real world distractions. They naturally show their talent through flashes of obsession.

What made the time fly when you were a kid?

That's most likely the thing you should be pursuing today.

  • Limit interactions

Don't spend your time with the uninterested.

Clean up your phone numbers and delete the conversations that don't attribute to your life.

Is your social feed filled with garbage? DELETE!

  • Seek competition

Competition will inspire you to do better.

It serves as a constant reminder you need to stay ahead of your game.

  • Ride the compulsion coaster

Life's a wild ride, with a lot of ups and downs.

Don't fight it.

Lean in.

People might think you're weird for spending hours alone but ultimately when results start to show, it will make them wonder how you did it.

Are you aligned with your purpose?
