You need more Reasons

Did you know reasons make the difference?

80% of people set goals to become rich, start a business or travel the world.

90% of that 80% also never achieve a single goal on their list.

Why?

The easy answers are

procrastination, lack of skill, time management, no luck...

But what causes all those things in the first place?

Not having enough reasons!

Jim Rohn once said, If the why is powerful the how is easy.

Think about it...

What is your biggest motivation?

Seeing a mindset related video on Instagram or having a constant picture in mind of who suffers most when you don't achieve your goal.

Inspiration is what gets you started.

Motivation is what gets you going.

Reasons is what keeps you going.

  • If you work for a boss and need the money to pay rent, you're more likely to get up on time and get to work.

  • If you work for a boss and don't care about any money and your rent is paid, you're more likely to stay in bed and get in late.

Different kinds of reasons

If you don't know WHY you want your goal, ask yourself these questions.

Family reasons

Is there someone in your family who needs your help, guidance or support? Why are your goals important for your family?

Health reasons

What happens to your health or someone else's if you don't achieve your goals? Why are your goals important for your health?

Friendship reasons

What happens to your friends if you don't achieve your goals?

Why do your goals matter for the sake of friendships?

Environmental reasons

What happens to your environment if you don't achieve your goals?

Do you like what you see around you, or does it need to change?

Why does it need to change?

Community reasons

What happens to the people who depend on you if you don't achieve your goals?

Personal reasons

What if you spend your final day knowing you haven't achieved a single goal on your list? Why do you need to change that?

Time to get to work

I'm asking you to establish your reasons.

On paper and in your mind!

Write them down.

Think about them.

But most important! GET TO WORK ON THOSE REASONS!

What do you think?
